OPPORTUNITY AND IMPACT

There is a common thought of “we have our own problems here in the U. S., why worry about Africa”.  I understand this line of reasoning very well because, as a Veteran, I too naturally have an America first mindset. However, philanthropy is not a zero-sum game as we are fortunate enough to live in the most blessed country in the world which means that it does not have to be an either/or decision.

Additionally, the primary reason Africa means so much to me is because of opportunity.  The reality is that in our great country virtually everyone has the opportunity to improve their lives, whether that’s something as basic as a homeless shelter or advanced as small business education and assistance.  This stands in stark contrast to Africa where such opportunities for help do not exist outside of the limited reach of charities such as ours. In short, we are the only means of opportunity that most students and entrepreneurs have.  An OPPORTUNITY that YOU can provide.

The final reason to support this organization is impact. The reality is that the average American does not have the means to truly have an impact on the issues that face Americans.  However, the amount of money most of us spend at Starbucks in a month can completely change the lives of multiple people in Rwanda.  I realize that this claim may sound exaggerated but consider that less than $40 provides education and food for a primary school student for a month or that $50 feeds a family of six for a month.  That is real IMPACT that YOU can provide.

Join us in providing an true opportunity for entrepreneurs
to positively impact their communities.

We are the new kids on the block.  But off to a great start!

While we have an incredible, dedicated group of volunteers to mentor and teach, we need your help to provide the needed resources. Would you consider financially supporting us and allowing us to get one step closer to our initial fundraising goal of $10,000
